Well at least the £2 potatoes weren't Maris Piper - I'd have done absolutely  if they had been!:rotfl::rotfl:

    Why £0.39?:(

I'm always bemused by that Large Chicken appearing with A price in red as if it were a multibuy. Doesn't appear to be of help to us though, as £5.47 is the price they pay. Also not liking that line of red £1.00s at all, on the wrong side of the comp.:(

The Maris did actually serve me well, as just managed to get them on a womble from 27/8/14, where they did compare although they bought one bag. Also had, fwiw, some Tresemme shampoo going £4.98 vs £2.24 although no guide as that's not the current price collection, and as usual they put them with some items that lost out a bit, although fairly good overall!

I also managed a womble today from around 'dodgy price collection' of 18/8-20/8. Unfortunately no Morries mbuys at all on the comp., so didn't return well, way cheaper than everywhere and nothing of mention from it now. They are still out there somewhere though, and you've got a couple of weeks to find and enter them.

I tried to guess which one it was going out on October 12th but I found 17 :T - so we need some clues :D

Its in September, sails from Corfu and we fly from Glasgow and its with Thompsons Anyone going on this one. We went one earlier in the year which had been postponed several times due to failed hip surgery so as I am walking a bit better I may enjoy it more

Aau's mother was going away this month too for her retirement, I think, but its not the same cruise

    Thanks for asking :A

If they'll shrinkwrap it onto a pallet, it could be delivered to anywhere in UK for around £30:)
I know, I dont know why they didnt offer that, they would get a lot more for it, I would be bidding, thats for certain,

This was my best womble - OH nearly discarded this as he said it was all baby food - lost 20p on the Ryvitas

    1 x Aunt Bessie's Homestyle Mashed Potato (650g) £1.50 £1.00
    2 x Heinz Mum's Own Pasta Bake with Tuna 7mth+ (200g) £1.58 £1.20

    2 x Heinz Mum's Own Creamy Vegetable Medley 7mth+ (200... £1.70 £1.20
    2 x Ryvita Original Crackerbread (200g) £2.18 £2.38
1 x Vimto Mixed Fruit Juice Drink No Added Sugar (6x25...

Was wondering as to why it would not have compared as £6 for 10 in As.

It's because the following does not show as part of the offer.:

    2 x Heinz Mum's Own Creamy Vegetable Medley 7mth+ (200... £1.70 £1.20

A number of baby food jars are 85p, and will compare to 60p.

Thus buy 10, pay £6 and get an apg of £3.10.

Cost of £2.90 for 10 baby jars, though make sure one of the 10 jars is the creamy vegetable medley.

No use for me currently, as little ones have grown out of them but hope it helps someone.

PS Would mhoc be able to confirm that the £6 for 10 discount came off on the receipt? I assumed it would have as no one in their right mind would buy 8 in the offer, and 2 not. But you never know with muggles!

Final womble receipt from today. Same old, same old:(. Do people have no original thought or any spark of idea whatsoever in their head? Obviously not!

Grapes:(, S/P Jaffa Cakes again (tritely:p 40p vs 40p at M), biscuits, usual items.

The Grapes are Red Seedless at 500g in A. So they're not lower weight in A than T. But, still, they were comparing on T PP yesterday - and best to get in T, especially with APG vouchers:rotfl:. Please can people buy grapes in T:eek: and not A? Thank you.

It's the usuals - items that are no good at the moment are the Cathedral Cheeses (again) at £2, the Grapes and, to some extent, the Strawberries, Frijjs, Munch Bunches and the 2 for £2 cleaning offer. People should buy cleaning stuff in an even number in T. As long as you haven't got those things on wombles, they stand a good deal more chance of being a good return. I'm not fussed about £3.30 fabric conditioner, comparing to £2 at M, sadly £3 at T when they mix it with uselessly more expensive stuff for M, indeed I like the fabric conditioner now it has gone up from £2 to £3.30. But not liking the cheaper £3 stuff at all that, as usual, costs a lot more and works out much more expensive on the APG:(.

And they're all paying way too much for their CBY Creamy Coleslaw (£1), getting no recompense for it at all, whilst buying with it items that compare very badly vs T.:(

I was only reminded of that 'cos I was talking to a mate yesterday who'd bought an outboard motor off fleabay for £600 (v. cheap, mainly 'cos it was collection only), found it wasn't the right kind (his error not the seller's), stuck it back on fleabay, but offered to shrinkwrap and palletise it and pay for UK delivery, and sold it on for nearly double what he paid for it:)

Update - wine rack went for just £60 - somebody got a great bargain:T

I have just had a very rude man knock on my door:(wearing a high vis jkt and with a clipboard(both of which can be purchased in the £1 shop;)) telling me they are working in the area and it looked like I was in need of a new driveway .On telling him I could not afford to have that done he promptly said how the hell do you know I haven't told you the price yet with that I shut the front door a bit pronto and left him muttering to himself. On a Sunday afternoon at 5 oclock I don't think so:rotfl::rotfl:
