Womble 30/08/14 sorry it's a long one this person paid cash £121.63

No, this is absolutely very useful as it shows some items comparing, such as the "Loves Baby" stuff that we might not previously have been aware of:T:T:T (correction: that I might not previously...:o:o).

    Such as this:
    1x
TESCO RED SEEDLESS GRAPES PUNNET 500G
    -£2.00£1.50£2.00n/a

Aren't Mr A's 400g or do I have that wrong from somewhere? In order words, 500g for Mr A's 400g price.

    Afternoon all

DD and I are having an indulgent day. We've been away to Aviemore on the train and went swimming and she went to the soft play while I had coffee and cake :D I've now just ordered us a Domino's for dinner! Couldn't be bothered to think about what to heat up ;) so thought we'd have a wee treat seeing as there is some money in my Paypal account

Aww remember the heyday of Aviemore, what a treat it was.
We were there two weeks ago in torrential rain, we stopped at the crossing beside Tesco to let people cross and a lady fainted I think, and fell face first on the crossing, ive been wondering since if she was ok.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    hi

I've just switched from Natwest to Halifax - well requested the switch on 22nd Aug and chose 5th Sept for switch to complete (couple of dd's to go through at start of Sept, hopefully will be £100 richer soon. :)
Didn't have any problem with NatWest but the £100 tempted me away. NatWest have emailed to say switch will be complete by the 5th.

Thanks tessie :) I saw a few on here switched so must be an ok account. Seems to be good for us - only prob is that me and OH have a joint acount so we both have to switch in one go :( Never mind, £100 better than nowt x

I've done crossfit. Although I liked it, it's a bit too much cardio for me. Whilst I like running and walking, I believe that simple (proper) free weights are sufficient. In fact I love free weights! Heavy squats, dead lifts, weighted lunges, overhead press, dips and pull ups. What more does a girl need?

Not all that that's for sure :o

:rotfl::rotfl:DS2 (5) does make me laugh. He just asked me to remind daddy to fix the toilet seat when he comes in from work because daddy has the right tools for the job and..."you know you're not allowed tools don't you mummy" :rotfl::rotfl:

This confirms the system has already been updated to the T prices I only saw early today. Cod Portion and Jam Donuts good to go (the Donuts very posh ones, very nice as well;):naughty::rotfl:, the more expensive ones work out - actually the £1.20 ones also appear to be catching T at 57p but I think the £2 ones are nicer).

At last I managed to find a trifle cheaper at T that was comparable - so many previous T offers in that area have been on non-comparable items as usually outside of the weight range. This one (even at T) is better price by weight than the S Basics price (Fruit Cocktail trifle) - Sains. were usually cheapest trifle per 100g but I bet S Basics has risen in price now:eek::eek:. Trifles, of any kind, are tempters anyway. So much money being wasted on things that aren't necessities:(:rotfl:.

    Why £5.44?

8 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    +£4.36CheaperSignBlue.gif
0.17 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg£0.11£0.11
    1 x ASDA Cod Portion (150g)£2.50£0.90
    1 x Young's Chip Shop Large Cod Fillet & Chips (300g)£1.50£1.00
1 x Bernard Matthews Dinosaur Turkey Roll (100g)£0.50N/A
2 x ASDA Protect Sun Lotion Spray SPF 30 (200ml)£6.00£6.00
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Jam Donuts (2)£2.00£0.57
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Peas (1Kg)£0.98£0.98
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Strawberry Trifle (600g)£2.00£1.17
    Comparison total (compared products only)£15.09£10.73

Earlier store had had the Sun Lotion Spray 15 instead of the needed 30:(. They had some sun lotion spray 30 but, typically, it was the Sensitive Spray 30:mad::mad::(. They also had the Sun Lotion (not Spray) 30:mad::rotfl: - no Sun Lotion Spray 30 anyway to be seen! In fact, so bad, with several other items missing - no Cod:( - Smoked Cod portion but not the right one - I was forced to decamp to the other store (not too far away). There, I managed to get the final two Sun Lotion Spray of the required type:T. Earlier store had had a full range of 50p Nestle Potz ice cream, including the two non-comparable ones (vs T), that I had wanted. New store had only two types of those - and they were both the comparable ones that are hellishly expensive at T:(:(. So had to make up the shopping as I went along, and didn't bother with the Nestle Potz on this one!:rotfl::rotfl:

I want Munchies and Aero only! Comparable Rolo and Smarties are no good!:rotfl: I'm sure they deliberately take items off the shelves sometimes if they see I'm coming:eek::rotfl::rotfl:!
