I agree tweets, my hair grows like there is no tomorrow but I would much rather not have to colour it. I started going grey at 21, just like my dad, I don't remember him having anything other than grey hair. My mum however held on to her natural colour for a very long time.Tweets you are so lucky I startedto go grey at 30 when I had my Hysterectomy:eek:and have been dyeing it ever since;)My youngest sis is 14years younger than Nannylala and does not dye hers and leaves it grey and truly looks 20years older than me;)so I really love itwhen I can stock up when it's glitching.
I remember my Sister commenting on my grey hairs when we stood waiting for the bus one day. I was 18my Mum went grey young, lucky for my sister she hasn't inherited that gene
There wasn't that many if them back then.

I just want to learn something new
not sure if I'd use it as conversational as I don't know anybody German outside of Facebook
Somebody else said to me most Germans won't correct you if you get your die and das etc.. the wrong way around
My first obstacle is going back to English lessons and learning what a noun, verb and adjective are again :rotfl:
I did a bit of German at school and also lived there on a couple of occasions in the past. I think rather than trying to learn what words die, der and das apply to.......it's easier to learn what applies as you learn the words themselves. If that makes sense?
It unlike most languages in that there are few hard and fast rules of thumb to learn by. So as you learn the actual words, learn which one applies. i.e don't just learn the word, learn what precedes it at the same time.
I will add that in conversation, they do speak so quickly you would be forgiven a few slips.0 -

I'm doing well to get a womble full stop, never mind one for over a tenner!
Saying that my DD picked one up yesterday that gave £1.22! I was :j at that, I think I'd probably need resuscitated if I got one the size of yours:cool: :rotfl:

That's what I'm doing. I think I have 4 apps on my tablet now (the website I was directed to earlier has an app so that's on there too now)
I think someone mentioned der Hund, die Katze and das Pferd earlier and I learnt those this week (vaguely remember them from school), which probably shows how low a level I'm currently at
It's really hard to focus so farbut I'm determined not to give up, will see how far I've got by Christmas :j

'The Big Bamboozle' by Barry Adamson, formerly of Magazine and Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, now a solo artist, writing music for imaginary films.
That is a great find!
I have no match for that but would recommend this mixing of music form one film with the visuals from one about a half-century ago.
