Am so so, thanks. RL taking over.
Had lovely day yesterday for DS's 30th birthday. At a very early age he was diagnosed with Cockayne syndrome, probably better known to most as a form as Progeria. We lived at Gosh for the first few years of his life and I was told that he would never walk, talk and be dead before he was 5. He has cerebal palsy, is deaf and hearing impaired but after being told about his expected life span, that is no big deal. :D Love proving the docs wrong. :D

Had several problems with my dad too. :( Lots of horrible decisions to make soon. :(

Through this, many thanks to Dotty for making me smile with his constant support. :A:A:A

Congratulations MKS and happy 30th birthday MKS DS. Hope you both have a great day x

My cat is on my bed and she's giving herself her bedtime clean.

But every now and again she makes farty noises with her mouth :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh those cheese savouries!! They are one of DS2 favourites. They used to be called cheese snacks and came in a red bag. They're now cheese savouries and in an orange bag. Exactly the same contents but he took a lot of convincing! :rotfl:

As a for the fish bites. More expensive yes, but they go a lot further. I used to buy flippers for DS2 but he was eating a whole box in one go  so I just buy normal fishy things for him now. Fish fingers, fish cakes, battered portions etc. To be fair I'd probably not buy these if it wasn't for the CB He pretty much eats adult portions so all those things aimed at kids aren't cost effective anymore. 50p CB on them and he eats 10 in a sitting with chips/waffles etc

I gave up buying these cheese savouries and cheese straws long ago as they don't actually taste of anything much. I do though make very yummy home made cheese straws with defrosted frozen puff pasty and grated cheese - grate cheese Up and freeze it so its ready to use.

Iceland - I think they have youngs fish fingers in 12s for £1 - looking at their website they seem to have lots of things we have previously bought for cashback eg cornetto so for £1
Also they have butter for 89p :T
We have also not been to Farm Foods for ages either - really need to make some freezer space as it's another place were we have no SEL control :)

I love Scotland in my family, and would be sad if they did not want to be in my family, but I would wish them well and welcome them as my neighbour and I would ensure they could use the Pound as it belongs to all the family!

Have you got a new cat?

    Not really.........:o

The ginger one still comes to be fed every day and he sleeps in one of the sheds some nights. He's still very wary of contact though.

    also.......

A young couple renting a house behind mine, moved in about 4/5 months ago. A few weeks later they inherited 2 cats when her Aunt died. I don't know exactly what has gone on, only spoken in passing, but it seems they have split up and the bloke moved out. The woman seems to be away for nights on end, leaving these cats alone :( there is a cat flap so they can get in and out but they can't be getting enough food so Ive been putting food out for them as well :o
I did notice she had commercial cleaners in at the weekend, so hopefully the cats have pooped all over the place  animals shouldn't be left for days on end like that :(
