Before I go on to Svs T, here are some items whose T equivalents should be (perhaps) bought in T - but definitely not put on a Tvs S comp.

    Sains Basics Lettuce 50p:eek: (T Eday 40p:))
    Sains Basics Salted Peanuts 80p (T, A and M 48p)
    Sains Basics Toothbrush (2 pack) 25p (T eday 18p)
Even Sains Basics Handwash (was 38p at the start of the year - now gone up, in stages, to 50p!:eek:_pale_). It's not as if you even taste the product or anything - there's no way that that is worth the extra amount for the supposed "quality". There - I said it!:p I may have suggested it before, but now my position is explicit. T Eday still 38p - buy there.

    Basics UHT Skimmed Milk (1L) 65p. A, T & M 49p.

Sains Basic Cloths (10 pack) - gone up to 50p:eek::eek:. A S/P and T Eday Value both 36p. That is going to cost us badly on wombles vs S.

Folks - can you tell all your family and friends about how expensive Sains. is. That's the only way to get these prices back down! Everyone, word of mouth. Do not buy S own brand products.

:eek::eek: Sains Basics Cornflakes 500g gone up to 45p! That is really taking the miss! That's almost as expensive as Mr A's 750g box - no way is the way smaller amount in S worth that extra money. Buy in A, T or M (:p to S). A/T/M about 6.1p or 6.2p/100g (A is very slightly cheaper per 100g). S 9p/100g. (T & M 500g 31p; S 45p.)

It may sometimes be pence here and there. Some of this is up to 15p per item! Now when you have about ten or twenty Basics items on a shopping basket, that does add up quite a lot indeed!

S Basics Wholemeal Bread (800g) 55p:eek:, but, if you are not getting whoopsies, you can buy A S/P Wholemeal Bread at 45p on a Sainsbobs comp. since it appears on the comp. as Brown and goes N/A:j vs S as S version isn't Brown. (Do not buy real A S/P Brown Bread expecting it to appear on the APG, different version available mainly in some A Supermarkets (the smaller stores called such, mainly ex-Nettos), as purchase of actual S/P Brown Bread results in no appearance on the comp. and thus does not count as one of your 8 items.) The downside is that S/P Wholemeal doesn't compare vs T at 47p and thus gives no 10% off that if you are doing an Avs T comp.:rotfl: - but it does still act as a 'filler' even if it gives T N/A.

It's typical isn't it, that for Scotland, that's not got the holiday, it is nice weather but quite a lot of the rest of the UK, which has Bank Holiday, it is wet weather so we can't enjoy the day!! :rotfl:Perhaps we should do a day-trip to Scotland, those of us that can!

And of course it's going to be warm on Tuesday, when a lot of people in any event are back at work:rotfl::(.

    Avs S
SMA Gold Toddler Ready to Use 1-3yrs (200ml) 45p 45p

    Avs T
    Pearce Duffs Blancmange 58p 46p
    Green's Carmelle Mix 70g 60p 44p
    Green's Lemon Pie Filling (2 per pack - 140g)55p 44p
Daz Citrus Splash Washing Powder 40 wash £6.00 £4.00
Daz Regular Washing Powder 40 wash £6.00 £4.00
    S/P Mozzarella 125g 43p 44p

    Tvs A?
    Penguin 27 £1.99 N/A
Sugar Puffs 625g £1.62 N/A (previous half prices in T/M last year were £1.24)
All those Frijjs, Nestle Mousses and Munch Bunches that annoy us on the APG
Cif Floor Cleaner Ocean or Wood Floor Cleaner (1L) £2.00 £1.00 (but has been cheaper in T before, quite some time ago now, and cheaper on APG previously when T or W were £1)
Italfresco Ready Made Polenta (500g)75p N/A (Once again this is *not* Tvs M, despite msm saying M N/A - M is more expensive)
2x Fresh & Naked Big Mixed Leaves (90g) Any 2 for £1.00 N/A (I don't know why we bother with these small bags - surely A S/P Seasonal Salad (vs Morries if you have that comp. available) would be a lot better?)
12x Matlows Giant New Refresher Bar/Swizzels Matlow Chunky Drumstick Lolly Yeah right! Any 12 for £1.00 N/A (or 10p each:rotfl:)
    2x OXO Stock Cubes - Beef (24)£2.20x2 Any 2 for £3.00
    2x OXO Stock Cubes - Chicken(24)£2.20x2 Any 2 for £3.00
Silver Bay Point Rose (75cl)£2.50 N/A (we hope - check a.com!)
Rustler's Hot Subs Southern Fried Chicken (158g)£1.10 N/A
T Eday Value Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce (410g)20p 13p
2x Tesco Hot Cross Buns (6)£1.20x2 Any 2 for £1.00
Tuc Original Snack Crackers (150g)£1.29 50p (but, obviously, lose money compared to going for McVities Krackawheat in A (vs T or - not Northern Ireland - W) or waiting for Tuc to go to 50p in a competitor of A and then buying in A on the appropriate comp. shop)
Trill Budgie Food (500g)£1.69 £1.50 (A just more than 10% cheaper... so we're off to T (or S) to get them from there, vs A)
Tommee Tippee Explora Heat Sensing Spoons 4mth+ (3) £3.99 £2.00 Hmmm...maybe could get cheaper than this somewhere?
Tommee Tippee Explora First Grown Up Cutlery Set 12mth+ £4.99 £2.00 (whatever next?:() Obvious risks.
Tesco Ibuprofen 200mg Caplets (16)32p 30p I think this is in the light of A not comparing vs M, but despite price increases everywhere (was 25p in A in February)
3x Tesco Malted Wheats (750g)£1.89x3 (when will they ever put their price down?) Any 3 for £3.00 (or one in A at £1.18)
    Tesco Strawberry Gateau (375g)£1.50 £1.00
    Tesco Macaroni 500g 95p 50p
    3xTesco Loves Baby Cotton Buds (300)52px2 (any 3 for '2') N/A
    2xPrymat Breadcrumbs (400g)99p bogo'f' N/A
2xSunpride Tropical Juice Drink (1L)Any 2 for £1.00 N/A (but have been 40p each equivalent before according to msm)

    Terry's Chocolate Orange - Milk (175g)

I noticed one of my wombles had these £2.75 vs £2.75. But another managed to buy them instore in A at £1.00 (and then went £1 vs £2.75:eek: at T and M) - maybe better to get on C&C, vs Sains (£1.95), if your store has at £1.

That'll do!! I'd have to go through the entirety of the 1000+ items still stuck on Avs T (just too long-winded to delete them ever now on msm) to see if they are now Tvs A, so I'll finish there without completing it (even though I am a completist:D). I've got the oldies from Tvs A that are still on (or believed to be on), more, including those that are more recent in A, may be found in the "Savvy Buys" of A on msm (then again they may not be:D).

    See you later!:):A
