Good idea, I am going to re instate my daily spends chart so I've got a more accurate idea of what we are actually spending day to day on groceries etc and so far we have no social events or midweek magical mystery tours planned for September.

It's been a bad few months - car insurance for 4 cars, final payment for holiday, nearly £2 thousand to the builder for the work on the front bedroom and the new fence ...[/QUO

I am sure that you front bedroom is now lovely and a holiday is always something to look forward to Enjoy

Was it you who put the fence but because of your neighbour?

DH does fencing and his customers always appreciate a bit of privacy.

Yes its us with a shiny new fence :T

The borders are going to heed widening again now and there is still one section which needs doing - might be next year now at this rate.

But its so lovely just to go and stand by the shed just as it's getting light in the morning or at this time at night as its getting dark and listen to the silence
    - bare feet, just a towel and dressing gown

    Good evening :)

Managed to get to As, forgot my lists ......remembered everything on the lists anyway :D

Did my good deed for the day. Spotted a lost looking elderly gent standing by his car in As car park with the bonnet up and holding a set of jump leads, bless him. I won't tell you how many people just drove past him
My battery is next to the drivers seat, so didn't even need to get out of the car :D 2 minutes later, car started and he was on his way :T:T

    :T:T:T

I can't understand why when it is so obvious what help is needed people just drive by, makes me

    How's yourself, and the family?

Good ta hun, I've had a lovely day with lil stink. I took him to the piccy's this morning followed by maccy d's for lunch followed by epic train track building and playing.
I love my life lol x
That was exactly my thinking re my 4 year old filming it too :rotfl:

 wonder if I can convice OH that I'll need to go out for cocktails afterwards though :D

    :o:D

He can't say I never make him dinner though ;)

Yours sounds delish, hope he doesn't keep you waiting too long though!

Pftttt well the hubby had just poo pooed that plan. Apparently he wants to sort the shed out and couldn't possibly manage to do that and look after a child . Heaven forbid he should have to do 2 things at once.
Men are serious crap at multitasking.
I'll just have to have cocktails later :D

  • My, you guys can chat! Had a few days to catch up so took ages, all day, on and off!

    Congrats aau1 on baby news!

Hope you're all well this evening!

I'm in the south and it's blimmin' freezing! I normally have summer duvet in Winter as it's so hot here but I'm considering the heating tonight. What Summer? :(

And was it TM who posted about applewood cheese? Love it! but nowhere here seems to do the spread. :( And no choccie pouches to be found. :(
Still, helps keep the spending under control I guess. :D
