Thanks bubbs and pacifica9, it was hard to write and I still cry when I read it back. It's on the dusty shelf in my memory where I store the crappiest bits of my life. I have it good now though - just finances to get sorted now :(

Snap-ant they will use anything to control her, hopefully she has the strength to see it through and not be manipulated by them

ITinyshoes it can be so hard to talk about - I used to feel so ashamed that I had let myself be treated that way :( I covered up for my ex so many times, I protected him from any repercussions. But I reached the point of no return like you, sadly many never get there. Hopefully snaps neighbour will be another to get away like us x

Snap I really hope your neighbour has reached the point of what I call no return, one day it happened for me like strewth, it is so easy for people not in abusive relationships to wonder why people do not just leave. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, you can't comprehend someone can have such a hold you and like strewth make such empty promises. I was so naïve. :o

    ♥ TS ♥

I think she has, I was reduced to tears when I heard she didn't fight back this time, just let him pummel her & then called the Police, finally & hopefully final ♥

TS hugs for you too xx
I knew it must have been bad and everyone that talks about it is very brave:A:A yes maybe be naive but VERY scared like most people in this situation are, you are both free now :T:T:T
Just think of the good life you have now with Mr ts, the girls and teeny:D

My life for the past 26 years has been a lifetime away from what happened back then. :T

I actually met Mr TS quite soon after divorcing I never hid from him what happened and he was my :A. He didn't bat an eyelid when I told him I was never going to ever get married again. :D I had to ask him when I realised he was actually the one. :rotfl: I had gone from having no confidence whatsoever to finding I was actually a very confident lady with he right person. :j
