My OH would not go and buy me any but doesn't mind actually colouring my hair for me. Now that is love. ;)

My OH will also colour my hair for me. :j

I have very resistant hair which shows through very quickly - so if I need to go somewhere posh between hairdressers apps he does my hair for me - otherwise I would need to go to the hairdressers every 3rd week

I made the slow cooker apple chutney It is lovely
Its many years since I made preserves but aiming to start this year So much better than shop bought
Neighbour has a plum tree so she can supply the plums and we can the share the sweet pickled plums. I can tell her later:rotfl:
I would love to make green tomato chutney Any idea where I would get them TIA

Glad you like the slow cooker apple chutney:T

In my slow cooker at the moment I'm making Blueberry Plum Butter; 3 punnets of blueberries, 4 or 5 plums halved and pitted, puree together in food processor, put in slow cooker on high for one hour, then low for six hours with lid slightly ajar to allow steam to escape, stir in 2 cups granulated sugar and juice/zest of one lemon (or a good glug of lemon juice), on high for one hour, puree again with stick blender if you want it really smooth, and it's ready. Simples!

Then that's the last of the Morribobs fruit in the fridge, thankfully ... I was getting a bit fed up with some of the prep work, but kept chanting my mantra 'Free food! Free food!':)

    Tesco sell green tomatoes

and I'm pretty sure that the newer, posher Morribobs do (the ones with the vapour wafting over the fresh herbs); Waities probably will, as well; if not all the supermarket larger stores. Also, good high street grocers would, or get them for you if you asked.

Thanks, where do you buy the piriton from?

Piriton is sold in most local chemists.

They may have the generic version which is called 'chlorphenamine'; these come in 4mg tablets. Piriton is the brand name of 'chlorphenamine' but usually 2 x the price.

Very :money:I can't remember the last time I paid for someone to colour mine. :T

Mine grows so quickly I could do with it being done once a month but I usually try and hold out for 6/8 weeks to keep my hair in good condition.

It went really horrible with all the temporary colours DD3 had to put on for college assessments in short amount of time. And then because she had to put on a temporary one before I had my roots done permanent it looked a right state after couple of weeks. :( Mr TS put on a permanent one for me before we went to festival but it didn't take well with the remnants of the temporary one on so could really do with him doing it again now but he has been too busy demolishing the garage.

I must pin him down one evening. ;)

Having £100 physically in your purse - cash, MOCs, APGS, BMs, TPPs, conditional spends etc - it really helps focus you so as little as possible is going out if your purse and you can make sure your receipts and purse tally up.

But you also really need a 'store cupboard fund' of say maybe £20. This is the fund you use to buy the must have bargains. For instance Sainsburys have masses of different variants of sauces and pizza toppings reduced to 20p right now so you buy a selection of say 16 of these for £4 - put them in your larder with 20p in marker pen written on the lid. Each time you get one out of the cupboard you put 20p from your purse back into the 'store cupboard fund'
