Some confirmations vs M (btw, I will have quite a few later and it is largely good news - albeit not as good as an old price collection was:p) but, in no particular order, these:

Confirmation that the Cherry Tomatoes are working:

    1 x ASDA Cherry Tomatoes (350g)£0.86 £0.85
However the "Bigger Pack Better Value" at M, which are on 3 for £2 there, work out much much cheaper per g.

2 x ASDA Smartprice Jaffa Cakes (12 per pack - 135g)£0.80£0.80 (no need to buy 2 packs, or indeed any at all;))

1 x ASDA Smartprice Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce (410g)£0.24£0.24
Slightly better vs T at 23p.

    And this:

    1 x ASDA Sweetcorn (2)£0.47N/A:j:j

At last, there is something to like on the new price collection after all!:):(:rotfl:

    Also:

    2 x ASDA Smartprice Cottage Pie (300g)£1.42£1.50

Again, no need to buy in twos. However, these have gone down to a low of 60p before in Mr A, some time ago, and therefore being kept off any of my lists ever since. In short, I just would never buy them or compare them against that expensive pricing at all. I'm sure they will, at some point, go onto a low-price offer. So, keep waiting for that to happen!:);) In the meantime, avoid! Used to be slightly better vs Sainsbobs, but we know Sains. has ramped prices up on much of its "Basics" range, and indeed that now compares substantially higher to Sains., and M, which was second best, is now 'best' (i.e. remained at the same price, whilst S has put prices up, so not very good at all).

I thought I might actually be able to pass off something as being cooked by my fair hands for a change. :D

And the other I thought would be good for DD2, she is at the hospital quite a lot again this year, so long days. Might make tea time easier. ;)

    What a star :T

You are :starmod: I would never have seen the offer without your OP. :A

I have never owned a slow cooker in my life. Hope it lives up to my expectation. :rotfl:
