Today is quite possibly update day,
Bolded part is, I believe, not accurate, I know the Monday collections are reflected in the APG on Tuesday midday-afternoon, so makes sense that the Weds collection is updated at the same time on Thursday. Sorry to everyone who has been caught out on the update, if it indeed proves that way.
Whilst no-one more than me agrees with accuracy and literalism, I think they are trying to err on the side of caution there and give a latest date so as to give an expectation of when the prices might be updated by.
I'd agree that the Monday collection is normally reflected on Tuesday afternoons, although on the odd occasion it can be Wednesday before it gets updated. I know that time we were buying the Tenderheart cabbage, whose Sweetheart equivalent version at M had just been reduced in price, the update wasn't as early as it usually is and shops done on the Tuesday night were still on the previous Wednesday information. So, 'up to 7 days old', is therefore, correct. (I think this also covers Bank Holidays, when the collection itself is done on Tuesdays.)
It sometimes (or perhaps always?) goes on whether the prices were updated at the time you did your shop so, if they had been updated only afterwards, then the shop will still be compared on the old data - this meant, for example, on that Tuesday night, when the prices were still the previous Wednesday, they still compared on those old Wednesday prices even if the Tuesday night shop wasn't checked until some time later on the following day (or even delayed and waited till later). Little did we know we needed to shop on Wednesday evenings that week:(.
This is why I always suggest err on the side of caution and, when I put new items on on Mondays, I say wait and wait and wait - to be on the more safe side, I wouldn't just wait a day (i.e. till the Tuesday), I'd be waiting until at least Wednesday evening, if not even beyond then in order to try to ensure the new pricing was in the system. But, as ever with vs M, it's always a risk and prices can be picked up one collection and disappear the next and vice versa.
Of course, if we know that prices have been updated (e.g. we see new pricing appearing on comparisons), then we can start to shop from that point - that's why I sometimes ask whether or not anyone has seen anything that suggests new prices are in the system (usually before I attempt to do my shopping on my new data:rotfl:, which doesn't always match with the APG although I think me and the APG are in accord with each other more than msm.co.uk is in accord with the APG (or, rather, more isn't)).
Hey ho, at least we now 'know' we are on the Wednesday data, as much as we ever know anything.
So -- it seems Monday's data this week was updated by 10.16am on Tuesday (a little early?) or, certainly, by 1.16pm. And Wednesday has been updated today, probably around mid-morning judging by the failed shops?!? (Not too relevant anyway, as regards exact times, I'm sure there's no pattern and no ability to predict any of this, and we're on Wednesday now, so that's that.)0 -

Oh it is (more expensive). I think the Andrex is 40 sheets per roll more than the S/P are? However, it's certainly a big step up in terms of price. I'd be reverting back to saying the Eday Double Length in T now on a Morries comp. (I assume that is comparing?).
Back to default Eday Double Length, unless informed that isn't working:(:rotfl:.
They used to have Double Length in A, that compared to Sainsbobs albeit at "normal" price, but not only has that been discontinued but Sainsbobs have ramped prices up in any event so even if it had still be being produced it wouldn't be as good now. I do notice the "single-length" S/P, that compared vs T for the 10%, do not last as long. They were 4 pack. It now seems A has discontinued that size as well, and now onto 6 pack and 12 pack (I don't think either compare favourably - the 6 pack compares to double price at T:eek:, comparing to it's double length one:( - it may compare vs Morries for 10% off £1, but probably doesn't). But the 4 pack were half the price, so the same cost. The 12 pack roll technically works out better (even though there is no 10% on that) - and is equivalent to a 6 pack double length, but also (almost) double price. So, it's about the same (technically a few pence better). But even then it's beaten by the Double Length in T because that (I hope) compares to M.
I did notice a sneaky price increase on the 6 pack in A from 98p to £1.00.0 -

I'm inclined to agree with you.I bought the velvet comfort that is free if you don't agree that it's softness you can feel.
It is good and I shall be hard pressed to find a reason to get the refund:D0 -

I'm watching that and will be inclined to buy it once it increases in price favourably at a 'price comparison' store (and remains or becomes way cheaper elsewhere). Price difference is too low for me at the moment. Sadly it's currently on "Great Value" in Morries and we know what that means:(:(.0
