Hope no one got stung too badly:cool:

Well now I'm not going shopping I am off to set up a treasure hunt for the children which I'm sure they will appreciate more than a trip to A :D

After my twister results, I did snooze, savvy, I should have gone back out in the night like nictrinwyn (see she was not mad like she said) or at least got my backside out of bed early this morning. ;)

I went out in the night, visited 2 Sada's but no chicken in either, so failed mission driving round at 2am and not organised enough to get out early today after not getting to sleep till 7 am.
Sorry for anyone that's lost money :(

We've had 1 yog and 3 chickens confirmed as not working.

I can confirm that 1 yog and 2 chickens did not work either from midday shop.

    Ah well onwards and upwards.

Failed 2nd shop for me and just for info, small Ambrosia 120g pot did not show on Morries results at all, not even N/A in any of the supermarkets.

    Hi PD. ;)

I had none until yesterday. No Morries round here. :(

Actually thinking about it probably would have been cheaper than £25 to have bought a few suns last week and used petrol to go to nearest Morries!!

Awww. I think some chicken recipes are in order! :)

  • So, probably small consolation and almost certainly already been mentioned but in this weeks Martin email there was a link to get a code for 15% off FF clothing (school uniform). Just ordered the last few bits for uniform that I needed and added in some cheapie pjs (Sofia the first) and it's taken the 15% off everything. :D

    May help someone.

Safest investment would be in a UK bank.

TSB Plus and Nationwide FlexDirect would earn you 5% on up to £6,500.

Then Lloyds offer a current account @ 4% on balances of £5000.

The rest I'd put in Tesco Bank and/or Santander earning 3%.

Loads more information on the respective websites and on MSE Budgeting/Bank Account forum.

Also don't forget 6% reg saver with First Direct/4% with Lloyds and HSBC. Drip feed from above current accounts.

    ;)
