I've probably lost today about £18 in vouchers that I was expecting back. Who knows - I might mitigate that loss, but not much of a dent into it, as who knows what Avs Waities might give me back!:rotfl::rotfl:
Which, to be fair, I can cope with £18 - that's far less than the amount of a weekly shop that most people do. I've a few more toilets rolls to last now (I know, there was me, sticking to S/Price but here there would have been a reason for switching allegiance to Andrex:D - in those situations, where Andrex was working out at 45p for 4 toilet rolls, definitely it would be Andrex to buy and not S/Price). What comes in with one hand goes out with the other:( - I think that casino thing has been, in effect, reduced to £12 for me instead of it being £30. So, in that way, I'm still (hopefully) £12 up.
Would have so much better if it had been £30 though:rotfl:! Of course, it still was (I hope!) but £18 lost to Mr A. Those handwashes got paid for in the end:mad::rotfl:.0 -

Hello all!
Hi PD.
I had none until yesterday. No Morries round here.
Actually thinking about it probably would have been cheaper than £25 to have bought a few suns last week and used petrol to go to nearest Morries!!0 -

Afternoon mad squad, looking for some advice please, my friend has £20,000 and is wondering what is his best/safest investment.
TIA
Safest investment would be in a UK bank.
TSB Plus and Nationwide FlexDirect would earn you 5% on up to £6,500.
Then Lloyds offer a current account @ 4% on balances of £5000.
The rest I'd put in Tesco Bank and/or Santander earning 3%.
