Oh and I lived in 1 room in tottenham to save 12k deposit. We suffered, it was awful. But we wanted our own place. Now it's the best thing I ever did.

If they're not ready to save and be sensible probably not a good idea for them to get a place yet.

exactly, it can be done but you do have to make serious sacrifices

I don't think eldest child and BF are ready, I think they have it in their heads that as both parents can help with contributions to a deposit then they don't actually have to save for a deposit themselves

I nearly put my heating on yesterday
Is summer really over already? :(
    Morning :)

I will admit to having my heating back on :o plus there has only been about 5 days this year where I haven't had my hot water bottle plus I have a 13 tog duvet on still :o I hate being cold:rotfl:

I put my 13 togger back on my bed last night and it was blimmin' lovely :D

What was nicer was to go downstairs this morning and smell that the heating was on before i got near the radiator. I do quite like the smell of heat generally, but this was extra nice this morning :D:D
