Oh and I lived in 1 room in tottenham to save 12k deposit. We suffered, it was awful. But we wanted our own place. Now it's the best thing I ever did.
If they're not ready to save and be sensible probably not a good idea for them to get a place yet.
exactly, it can be done but you do have to make serious sacrifices
I don't think eldest child and BF are ready, I think they have it in their heads that as both parents can help with contributions to a deposit then they don't actually have to save for a deposit themselves“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Is summer really over already?ilovetoshop wrote: »Morning
I will admit to having my heating back onplus there has only been about 5 days this year where I haven't had my hot water bottle plus I have a 13 tog duvet on still
I hate being cold:rotfl:
I put my 13 togger back on my bed last night and it was blimmin' lovely
What was nicer was to go downstairs this morning and smell that the heating was on before i got near the radiator. I do quite like the smell of heat generally, but this was extra nice this morningI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
