Mr TM likes his pickled in vinegar and spices but he is a philistine:rotfl:
I prefer mine with balsamic vinegar and cubes of smelly cheese:)
I haven't touched the packaged beetroot from the first Morries glitch yet. It's dated November I think:)
I do prefer cook (i boil) peel and eat but was just thinking.....maybe;)

The guy told me that this "girl" had used 30 vouchers with "This voucher can be used in Tesco" at the bottom off the APG voucher. She was also using vouchers for over £10 he told me £10.03 which I find strange.
TBH, I think its a fake story that tesco's are saying to scare customers in using APG vouchers in the trial stores.
Next time, Try the home store. They hate these vouchers and will do everything to stop you using them.
Some of the stores will only allow a MAX of £10 per transaction but will allow you to hog a SS till and do as many as you want. It was like I was the scanner and my husband was the shopper and kept toping up the basket to do them £10 shops
Haha yes I forgot about being asked for ID :rotfl: I could hardly keep a straight face:D
Yes I did use them upstairs, it sounds like it must be the same guy as that was the same spiel that I hadWhen he said about the 'this can only be used in T's' and her being carted off in a police van I could hardly contain myself. Thank god I was on my own, I sort of had to turn it into a cough :rotfl::rotfl:
I haven't tried the home store, might give that one a miss then if it's uber trouty

Are the m7s vouchers worth using?
I confess to having a couple and not using them as not had a chance to get there.
I saw people mention they're not gonna be around much longer.Expiry on them is 30/9 dipdap. I think they're best used when M&S have the £10 meal deal offer on. Too far to travel for me to use them regularly, perhaps ask for the best way to use them when Truly is about, I know she likes them
Just my opinion but I wouldn't consider using just the GR voucher on its own as it wouldn't be worth it for me. It would break my heart to spend more than a tenner on just a few items:rotfl:
I use them in conjunction with tillspits/ loyalty vouchers etc as I'm an M&S card holder. If for example I get £40 worth of vouchers per quarter, I would buy 8 shops using £5 loyalty voucher plus a GR voucher each time. I tend to only buy the deals with wine included to get the best value for money.
However with fully stocked fridges and freezers, I'm hard pressed to justify spending anything on food at all at the moment:o:eek::DTo do is to be. Rousseau

I'm going to spend the morning pondering a situation I have...
My very good friend has been upset recently because her sister BIL and children are moving to the states for his work...its got progressively worse over the last few months with her keep saying she doesnt know how she will manage with her sister so far away...and refuses to see any of the positives.
Both sisters are very well off so it wouldnt mean they couldnt see eachother and the sister thats moving is more than happy for visits etc and has continued on a very regular basis to say it wont or shouldnt change anything ...but my friend point blank refuses to see that its a good move and all she wants to do is wallow in her own self pity....she also doesnt really like her BIL and blames him for the move.
Here in lies my problem...I'm not sure how much more I can take...the family travelled off at the weekend and its hit fever pitch here with sister who just can let go....
I am sympathetic..but its starting to affect me...2 years ago I lost my brother to cancer and I still miss him so much... how I wish he was on the end of a plane jouney or skype...and I fear that I'm at the point of snapping that remark at my friend to try and make her see that physical distance can be overcome....but I feel so bad about trying to make her see it that way.....
Sorry to hear this LEJC, especially when she is such a good friend:o:o
The time to bring it to a stop is when you feel you are starting to go round in circles just repeating yourself. Can you be jokey and maybe say something like "come on let's change the subject". Try it with a hug and a smile.
If this doesn't work, and she is really a good friend, be honest with her and explain gently that it's affecting your relationship.
Good luck:)To do is to be. Rousseau

A vs M APG £4.83
Not as good as I thought it would be.Asda shades and eggs all compared favourably on msm but not here (apart from one lot of shades.
Also ordered 1 golden delicious apple but have got 1kg and charged for them too but only 1 Golden delicious apple shows here lol.

Msm.co.uk (on the 'Shopping at Morries' side) looks really messed up to me on eggs, as regards having incorrect prices on some items and some incorrect items with prices that apply to other products. I need not go into the detail as we can see the APG is comparing (semi-correctly btw IMO) against £1.39 on both eggs. I imagine the medium FR eggs are comparing vs T at £1.00 or is that now returning N/A? TIA.
On the Shades, a bit like the eggs, it's the computer scraper online on msm linking up different products based on its algorithm - that might have produced a 'glitch', whether of slight or great nature, if the prices for M were taken from online. However, they are not - they're taken from instore, with human beings deciding what is comparable and to what, and the humans are I feel, sadly, more correct here. EDIT: I have the Shades showing at £3.89 for M on msm - I'm not sure what you were expecting? EDIT 2: Sorry, the £8 ones, just checking...
EDIT 3: £7.75 for M on msm. Maybe they were OOS in M when the price collectors visited. Don't know, I never look at ones as high as £7.75 in M. (32p+ per roll, it's about twice my price limit:eek:.)
I'm sorry - I treat the words "Best Ever"* as a promotional tactic on behalf of the store, intended to get people to spend more money than needed. They do so, IMO, by convincing people that they are of better quality. I'm sorry that, on this occasion, you fell for the marketing tactic in my view.
As people will know, I have no truck with much of this at all (although rarely I do fall for it myself:o) and I see 'having no truck with' things like this as being one of the best ways of saving money. For me, toilet paper is toilet paper (:money::question:). But I know, for some people, that's not the case.
You know what - I want my toilet paper to be hard. I don't want soft nastiest that rips to shreads on my bum. So - there we are folks, I am just going to reject completely the notion of "soft" toilet paper, intended to appeal to the emotions and proclivities of a mass public that is generally affected by such things. I feel it provokes that "aah" factor in most people that evokes cute animals and babies. I'm having none of it - sometimes emotion is too sweet and therefore sickening!:D I know - I like to be controversial, but, sometimes, rejecting the generally accepted view is the best approach you can take! Short shrift from me I'm afraid:rotfl::rotfl:.
*And, indeed, "Softest Ever".0 -
