Sorry but i don't get it :o

nerfy seems to get it though  is this a sign of the apocalypse?

I think perhaps due to packaging change they are keeping new stock in the back of Asda which will go out at full price once other stuffs gone. Staff give the order a blanket price. X multiplied by £12.48... Therefore the products are not even scanned, therefore not actually on the order. So when they come to refund the stuff and scan it , it comes up as £0. Could make for a tricky refund, but it's always been ok for me thus far ;)
And just to add, my previous laundry disasters have all been differant stores and all done with this same blanket pricing method, but all refunds have been fine.

    Good morning :)

Jeez I was tired last night, couldn't keep my eyes open! Ive even had a rare lie in this morning :D It's very windy here so we gave the beach a miss this morning.
No shopping for me today, it's been a very expensive week.

Happy Birthday to little Nerf. Sounds like he's having a great day :T:T

    Morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.

Random question- has anyone else got one of the sparkling floral glade automatic spray thingys. Mine keeps having a funny 5 minutes and spraying 3 or 4 times in a row. It's just gone nuts and sprayed 8 bloody times. I'm sitting here choking after wrestling the stupid thing apart :o:rotfl:

On another note- JuJu brought over this on the last thread -

"Supercasino is paying £52.50 on TCB for a £20 deposit...for those that like these. Reviews are good, it ends tomorrow. I won a little bit, so cashed out £28 and cashback is already in pending....so total of £60.50 profit"

I cashed out £28 quid as well and my cashback is also already tracking :j
Just thought it was worth another mention x

    Awesome prezzies nerfy.
Happy birthday to your youngest, hope you all have a fab day x

Have any NI peeps signed up to this? It's telling me that my post code is invalid and I'm not part of UK?! :o TIA

'love is proved in the letting go'

[don't read any further if you have a loved one leaving soon, for foreign lands or college and the like, unless you want a bit of a weep this morning]

WALKING AWAY It is eighteen years ago, almost to the day –
A sunny day with leaves just turning,
    The touch-lines new-ruled – since I watched you play
Your first game of football, then, like a satellite
Wrenched from its orbit, go drifting away

Behind a scatter of boys. I can see
You walking away from me towards the school
With the pathos of a half-fledged thing set free
Into a wilderness, the gait of one
Who finds no path where the path should be.
    That hesitant figure, eddying away

Like a winged seed loosened from its parent stem,
Has something I never quite grasp to convey
About nature’s give-and-take – the small, the scorching
Ordeals which fire one’s irresolute clay.

I have had worse partings, but none that so
Gnaws at my mind still. Perhaps it is roughly
Saying what God alone could perfectly show –
How selfhood begins with a walking away,
And love is proved in the letting go.

    Cecil Day-Lewis
'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
    Groucho Marx
