That's a bit crap. There's nothing in the T&C's about them requiring a receipt to go with the apg. I've certainly never been asked for one when I've been using mine in T's. I'd be telling them to jog on if they did

I seem to remember some discussion in the press re 1p items a couple of years ago - tesco were quoted in the papers as saying that 1p items were to be sold just like anything else . They knew 1p items were on the shelves and were happy to sell them at that price.
Shame the article isn 't online. That sounds like the kind of thing we could have on post 1

They didn't ask for one at first, but when I went in a few days ago they wanted the receipt and were checking dates & transaction numbers and writing TESC* on it. I asked why and they said it was to stop people reprinting and using them again & again?
This is such a good deal being able to use APGS & other coupons in Mr T's but I guess some people are taking the p and using the same APG again and again? Bit daft when it is so easy to generate a new one in A's?
