I had double yellow lines outside my house, so I had quickly parked my car outside and loaded my 3 dogs in the car and then drove them to the park. Walked around for over an hour then drove home to find my front door wide open!!
I thought I had been burgled untill I realised what I had done.
It was in a really rough inner city area too! What a muppet!!
OMG, lucky, I have left the door wide open in my car and gone in the doctors surgery and came out and seen it open, thought it had been broken into but nothing missing.0 -

Where were you when your LL phoned you? I bet you couldn't get home fast enough :eek:
I went to Poland for 3 weeks, I had been home a week and had to unlock the front door for a parcel delivery (we always use the back door due to the road/drive layout, I think the architects must have been on the sauce when they did our cul de sac, anyway I digress)
It was already unlocked  God only knows how long for
The next time I went to Poland I thought, ooh better check the front door after last time - I hadn't used it for a few weeks - you guessed it, unlocked :eek:0 -

Me and my cousin took DS to Bristol Zoo a couple of years ago, she went to the loo while I stayed with DS then I went in afterwards.
In the cubicle I went into (there were about half a dozen to choose from) there was a camera left on top of the toilet roll dispenser.
It was MY camera that she had been holding :eek:0 -

Was the camera on a timer?

All this talk of keys and open doors is quite appropriate this evening.
We have a communal storage place out in the car park area where bikes and stuff can be stored. My OH came home at lunchtime today and promptly left his keys in the door of it on his way back. One of the kids from upstairs came and knocked on my door and was like I think these are your husbands keys, he left them in the door, again! I'm starting to worry about him actually, it's not the first time  :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
