hello all.
I have a first floor flat, and lucky enough to also have my own private garden. I have a pole at the end of the garden, and I have a pully wheel attached to the pole, and one attached to the outside brick work. A simple process of pulling and pushing allows the washing to be hung out to dry.
A lot of the time, the washing line comes off the runner of the pully wheel, which results in me walking to the end of the garden, climbing up the ladder, and placing the washing line back on the pully wheel. A friend of mine suggested this happening because there is no weight baring on the line, but did not come up with a suggestion.
Any thoughts????

Hmmm. Maybe your pully wheel is broken? How about buy a cheap now one on Amazon, I've seen some for about $20, and you should be able to attach it easily.0

I don't think the pully is broken at all.
also, not sure how a tube or stick will help, but I am sure something weighting is neededTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -
simple case of the washing line not being pulled in a straight line
( square with the pully)Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
Also, has the washing line stretched over time and is now loose on the pulley?0

i would say the washing line is loose, rather than pulled in the right directionTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0
