Injection Tool for knotweed

I been trying to find a hire company that hires the Injection Tool for killing knotweed, it's something I can do but buying the gun in about £300 ish getting someone to do it will cost over £800 + according to a guy who I got to have a look..
I don't want to be cutting or spraying, it seems to be the safest way to get rid without killing the surrounding area.

Have a read of this from Amazon, it says it can get rid of knotweed and most of the reviews seem ok.

Thanks but that for spraying,it can also be used to inject. Another reason i don't want to spray is I'm a beekeeper, I can't have my bees bringing it into the hives..Jane x0 -

Slim chances, IMHO. It'll all be tied-up in red-tape and only available if you're a registered person whose done training. 'Elf'n'safety innit!
Anyway assuming you'll need it for two seasons at least, £300 now and then sell on Ebay when you're finished might be cheaper than renting0 -
how about this

or why not knock/drill a small holes in the stem and squirt the herbicide in using and oil0 -
Ink refill kit. Comes with a nice syringe and a steel tube approx 2 inches long.
Used it to inject stems when other plants are too close to spray ro where leaf contact between them could be an issue.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Just an update with the knotweed.
I used the baster injecter and it seems to have worked, leaves started turning brown within 2 days within a week no leaves were left, I used a 50:50 mixture of this Rosate 36 Very Strong Glyphosate Weedkiller - Kills The Weeds & The Roots!
Of whst I've read next year it will still grow but be stunted, then spray with the same stuff.Jane x0
