Benefit change

Hi I usually work part time 6 hours a week. I have to complete a form to say how much I'm earning. Couple weeks ago I took some holiday days and thus increased my earning slightly for that week. I entered the info on form and they entered it on computer when I signed on. Today I got a letter to say because of changes my benefit is lower. This is from the holiday pay I believe.
This week coming and next week il be working 9 and 12 hours but I will be going over the stated amount to live on. I think my hours increase will only be for these two weeks due to holiday cover for other people. Would my benefit claim be stopped as I earn over the amount but I'm still under the 16 hours stated by them.
