Multiple current accounts - the debit card dilemma

No dilemma for me, have 30+ current accounts plus credit cards and carry only three debit cards and three credit cards in my wallet.
The rest are stored in a covert safe should I need them in the future.
Whenever I get a card for a new account that I am not going to use, I change the pin then store in the safe.0 -

I'd consider punching out the chip and the CVV number of cards that are unlikely to be used.0 -
I have never been asked for a debit card number when opening an account recently (even when switching, in order to get a £100 bonus from Halifax) which is why I said:thenudeone wrote: »Absolutely not.

Apparently according to several posters, since the introduction of 7-day switching, the debit card number IS sometimes requested.
