Hi there. i was hoping for some help. i am trying to get my credit up as i will be applying for a mortgage in 18 months. i recently set up a isme account to start buying things for the house before we move in, by using isme/very and paying my repayments on time each month, will this make my credit rating go up. or do i need to get a credit card? thank you in advance. :rotfl:

It's be easier and probably cheaper just to get a credit card and use it regularly, paying off in full each month.0

pay on time , also when buy now pay later is due and will cost you no more and have the same effectDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Shop Direct appear on credit reports, so yes I imagine they will have an impact.
I guess it wouldn't hurt too take out a CC too for your day to day purchases, try and get a cashback CC, such as ASDA.0
