I don't do Paleo but I am on the Harcombe Diet which is similar, I think. Natural Live Yoghurt and dairy is allowed (if not intolerant to cheese etc), as is brown rice. Low sugar fruit over high sugar fruit (i.e. blueberries not bananas). No sugar, wheat, processed food etc.
The aim is to tackle Candida, Hypoglacaemia and food intolerance."Does it spark joy?" - Marie Kondo

I've been following Paleo Vegetarians on FB. I haven't tried any of the recipes yet but the meals certainly look very tasty. I shall have a better look in a few weeks to see if I could eat cheaper this way.:)Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060

Thanks for the replies.
I have been, as someone else put it, paleo plus, for a few weeks and have noticed a real difference in my clothes, my energy levels and my weight. I have ditched grains except for a couple of times and I can gain 2lbs in fluid from one grain type meal, pasta or bread!
I am really enjoying my food and am never hungry either!0 -
I just started a diet similar to Paleo because of food intolerance and possible SIBO.
I was already skinny, but what concerns me is losing weight. How can I stop that?0 -

Technically I suppose you could eat lots of energy-dense fats, but they're very filling so in practice you might find that without high carb food, you're not able to eat enough to meet your calorie requirements.
That's what happened to me, and is why I went back to eating oats, beans, lentils etc after a couple of weeks.Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
