No idea, but Donna Ferguson never hits the thanks button on any posts in her many threads asking people to contact her for her planned articles. Perhaps people find that offensive?

From her past requests, she doesn't appear very balanced in her approach to stories.

She seems to look for people to fit her scenario rather than speaking to people in order to then reach conclusions based on those investigations.

So, she's already decided on the story and only wants people who support that.

A bit like only asking for people that hate broccoli to contact her to prove that it is unpopular. Whereas, asking for people's thoughts on broccoli would provide a more balanced article.

  • Turns out a weaning machine is for mashing up food for baby. Bit like the fork you already have in your cutlery drawer :-). I am relieved though that the World isn't quite as crazy as I first thought.

So you want to talk to nutters?

Bit judgemental! My daughter has had a Ewan Dreamsheep since being a newborn and it is the only thing that sends her straight to sleep. Worth every penny and he has been replaced twice due to wear and tear. If that makes me a 'nutter' so be it but I'd rather have a baby that sleeps well and if a Dreamsheep helps then its worth being seen as a 'nutter'.

Well if that IS the reason, then that's pathetic.

Indeed it is, although I wouldn't call not clicking the thanks button pathetic but something that reflects poorly on the Guardian Media Group.

I can't say this strikes me as something that reflects badly on them at all.
  • I had to google dreamsheep, and now I want one! (for myself - my youngest child is nine years old).

Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

When both my children were born 1968 and 1972 they were bathed in a washing up bowl in front of the fire in the sitting room.
When the weather got warmer, they were bathed in the kitchen sink till they were about 2/3 then they got promoted to the big bath.....

It cost us absolutely nothing, and even baby wipes hadn't been invented......
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
