Another techie question - on behalf of hubby this time.

We have a nice analogue TV that we intend to hang onto until it's had it's day. It has 2 scart sockets.

At the moment we have connected to it a Sky box for Freesat - Sky box has 2 scart sockets. Also have a VHS/DVD combi which also has 2 scart sockets.

We have today purchased a Freeview box to get some other channels that we don't get on Freesat - it also has 2 scart sockets.

Can someone suggest a way of connecting the Freeview box + the Sky box + the VHS combi and still get good quality picture and sound?

As the tv will be 2 input scarts, where as on the boxes you will have an out put and an input scart, you will be able to put 2 of the three into the tv, the left over box can be put into the input scart on either of these 2 boxes thats are plugged into the tv.

To use the box that is not plugged directly into the tv just switch the box it is plugged into to av and put the tv to the the correct channel that for the box that this is plugged into.

Thank you Malky39, I've passed that info on to him - he'll give it a go tomorrow.
