Conservatory - Advice needed

We replaced our old conservatory frames and roof recently (to a glassone). Everything seemed OK for a few months, then came the change inweather.. we have since noticed that it’s drafty and howls when its windy. On investigation, there is a small gap on each side of each roof plasticbeams but only where they reach the window frame (you can see outside). So in total there is 8 beams, so 16 gaps, its hard to explain so ill try and upload the picture thisthread. It pretty much where the end caps are

I contacted the company whom advised this was normal?! But they couldseal them (with silicone) which they have since done, but not a greatjob! and i still can see outside..
So what im looking to know is this normal? our old plastic rood neverhad gaps! or howled, not really sure what to do now L
