Shame I wasted £7 to view these awful documents but glad I decided to stick with MSE.

You should ask for your money back.

    Seriously.

These are the same lot that inspired this legal argument ... (I had to delete link as per site rules)

See how far it got him!

Mmm, thanks for sharing that - delusions of grandeur!
  • I've not had any response from 3 of the 4 DCAs after the 12 day period - the other one (Lowell) say's they've written to their client asking for the documentation.

If they haven't replied in the prescribed period, what happens then? Do I give them longer or write back or what?

    Thanks for your guidance.

Do you owe the money? If so contact the DCAs and make an arrangement to pay.

It is as simple as that!

Have you made formal s77-79 requests under CCA? And these are credit cards/loans? And they have not supplied any documents?

The debts are not enforceable as things stand.

This is explained in the factsheet linked to earlier

    https://www.nationaldebtline.org/EW/factsheets/Pages/39%20EW%20Credit%20agreements%20-%20getting%20information/Page-02.aspx#quicklink1

If you have priority debts or enforceable non-priority debts then you should concentrate on paying them rather than these four. If you were considering making a settlement offer, you may now get a more sympathetic response, particularly if these accounts pre-date April 2007.

That's a rather curt response to my request for help - I am not denying owing the money merely asking for advice on protocol!
