Wax stuck in wood grain?

I dyed my oak doors black with Liberon Spirit Wood Dye (after sanding as advised) and have used Liberon Bison Wax to protect and finish the wood, but the wax has left lines on the door like it's stuck in the grain (the wax was neutral shade but shows up white in these lines).

I've only applied the wax to one door, any advice on how to remedy this without stripping the whole thing back (and to prevent this happening on the other already stained doors before I start waxing) would be most appreciated!

Try a hair drier to melt the wax and wipe away with a cloth.

I have, but as the wax is in the grain or small gaps, the cloth can't reach it (hope that makes sense!)

Could work, will have a bash!

Try a shoe polish brush, brush with the grain and this should get the wax out of the grain.
If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!

Exactly what I would try, or even the hot air gun with care.

I've used that stuff on kitchen units to hide the pin holes left when the handles were changed, it does a sound job of filling any small holes and cracks as you have found.;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

    !
I didn't say but I meant using a drill with a lambswool bonnet and backing pad (the possibility that the heat generated in the process might get rid of the lines).
    Forgotten but not gone.
