Backdated Electricty Bill - Help
Comments

Quick update on this - first they refunded the first 12 months - during which my review did not occur as it should have - and then refunded the lot. They admitted that while the usage could be evidenced, that they had a duty to keep me informed of my usage, as my energy supplier. The government has guidelines on how energy companies should educate their customers and keep them on price plans that are necessary and best. This did not occur with me. Lesson learned regarding the bill and reading it. thanks for the advice all, cynical and positive.0

Highwireman, I am much relieved for your sake - being somewhat cynical, I'd advise you to keep all the paperwork associated with the refund for proof in the future, if needed .... after all, you never know ...This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
