small suitcase

I am looking for a small suitcase, sufficient for an overnight stay. I have a case which meets EasyJet hand luggage size but it is really too big for an overnight stay. The smallest I can see is this size: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2863881.htm#pdpFullProductInformation Is anyone aware of any wheeled cases which are smaller? I have seen people walking around at train stations with smaller cases than my hand luggage size case but I can't seem to find any in the shops or on line.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

Are those actually suitcases or briefcases?

Dunelm do a 16 inch suitcase in the Faro range which is very slightly smaller than the Argos one. I've seen them in store and they do look very small.

Depending what you're there for .... I had to go somewhere once for two days. First day in the office, second day an exhibition.... so I'd not see the same people twice. I just popped a toothbrush, knickers, toothpaste and a roll-on deodorant in my handbag and wore the same clothes both days.

does anyone need a case for an overnight stay? wouldn't a messenger bag or overnight bag do the job just as well?
  • Type 50-40-20 into Ebay or Amazon - they bring up cabin bags guaranteed to be taken as hand luggage with the budget airlines.

The OP isnt looking for a bag guaranteed to be accepted but a much smaller wheeled suitcase. The ones they've seen others use I'd suspect may be sold as briefcases rather than suitcases.

That's what I use when flying to England for 1-2 nights. I get my shoes, straighteners , undies, silk wrap and change of clothes in as well as my mini toiletries. The flight attendants are always commenting that my carry on is the smallest they ever see

Not wheeled but light enough to carry and I can zip past the slow walkers ( hate airports with a passion)

Thanks for the replies. I do know the difference between a brief case and a suitcase. I'm not talking about the laptop bags that people walk around with. The ones I have seen are miniature cases- I suspect people have had them for years. The best way I can describe them is between a vanity case and a small suitcase.

My current case does fit the easy jet hand luggage requirements. I am however, not necessarily talking about flying, though I suspect that by mentioning the size of my case I may have given the impression I was talking about flying.
I'm also talking about train travel. I find it a lot easier using a wheeled case on a train and the underground when I visit the southeast than a small carried bag. I have tried a small bag but find if I buy anything whilst away e.g. multi buy drinks or get given anything to bring back (if visiting family for example) then I don't have space in the bag for these.
I like the idea of the Dunelm case. I am going to see if anywhere does a 14 or 15 inch high case.
