It's pretty obvious really. Paul was running down the hill to the shop and he heard a funny noise in the sky. It was a cacophony of shrieks. He looked around, people were stopping and looking up. People in cars wound down their windows and strained their necks trying to search the sky for answers.

The most obvious answer was Aliens. Could this be the start of an invasion? A pre-emptive strike by wailing banshees from outer space? People looked panicked, desperately looking round for answers, searching each others faces to see if their fear was mirrored.

Suddenly, a dog tore it's lead from it's owners hand and ran headlong into the local park. Almost immediately hundreds of birds lifted into the air in panic!

So that was it. Nothing really happened, it was all innocent. Paul continued onto the shop and bought some milk, and as a last minute decision, some chocolate.

Of course, I'm guessing the guy's name was Paul, you've haven't really given me enough information for that.

A search for that quote throws up an identical thread being posted on NetMums yesterday, and the same again back in July on a language forum by the a poster with a very similar name...
