Hi,
I'm looking to replace a failed (as in leaking) Tivolis 600mm (H) x 450mm (W) chrome, flat, towel rail. The only one I can find the same size is by Ferroli. But I need to know the bar spacing and end dimensions to work out if it will fit where the old one was without drilling new holes which I'm trying to avoid.
Of course I could replace it with another Tivolis but since it failed after a year I'm not so keen on that. And it took a couple of goes to get an unscratched radiator in the first place so not only is Tivolis packing department naff whcih I found out when bought it but now I know that Tivolis also can't seem to braze well either.
So has anyone got a Ferroli Pisa towel rail and can tell me the spacing? Ideally the 600 (h) but any would be a help. And yes I have tried the importer and suppliers. They have no idea and apparently no way of find out (not very helpful IMO ).

OK. I'll answer my question just in case anyone else needs the info. The Ferroli pisa 600mm H x 450mm W is not identical to the Tivolis Design. The Ferroli has 25mm tubes where as Tivolis is 22mm. The vertical pipe centres might be a little bit different but I had slop in that so a few mm wasn't an issue.
The vertical centres are also different. My existing Tivolis was 48mm from side bottom to centre line of first gap between horizontal tubes. Distance from side bottom to centre line of highest gap between tubes was 552mm. These were my fixing points. On Ferroli the same figures are 51mm and 542mm. However the Ferroli fixing are not round like Tivolis but a vertical oval. The screw hole in the these is not just a round hole like Tivolis but a slot, 20mm long. Hence with a 4mm screw (no 8) you have +/-8mm of adjustment. I seemed to get the 10mm I needed without the top support looking like it was bending down.
Correction - when I looked closely the top support tube was angling down. But there was enough meat left in the screw slot, before the screw head hit the side wall, to file it 2mm longer. Usefully the tube clamp screw is very large so take that out and you can get a screwdriver through that hole to tighten/loosen the wall screw. Hence you can get the support tubes off and on without removing the radiator.0
