We paid £1200 fully fitted inclusive of vat and additional top glass panel....18 months ago
I would guess you might be better off getting a quote for supply and fit rather than just supply only....
What costs have you been quoted for fitting?frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
none yet, I presumed my builder would fit it?
was yours a door and glass windows either side?0 -
No windows either side but a custom made top panel in glass ....I am aware that the unique design I choose put the price up by £100
I wouldnt assume that a standard builder would fit the door either...in my experience it is usually much better to have a supply and fit quote.that way there can be no confusion about the sizing etc when the builder goes to fit it and its not quite the right size!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Different rated systems of composite doors .all to do with ratings, locks ,insulation . a grand isn't overpriced supply only but look at it this way . If its a grand to you I might get it for £800 because I deal with the company often and charge you £250 to fit then you get it fitted for the same price and you can buy it . Sometimes its not always cheaper to price around yourself . e.g I have a cash account at GAP plastic . I am happy for people I know to use my account and pay for it there and then because to more I spend the bigger the discount it get so the cheaper I get it .
P.S to answer your question £1050 isn't really overpriced for a composite combi door . hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0 -
