    The key to Insurance is that the Insurer must ask a clear question and you need to answer that question truthfully.

    If the Insurer do not ask (A clear question) if you've been a named driver on a policy that has been void or if a family member has been responsible for a void policy then you have to answer it. It's unlikely an Insurer will ask you such a question.

    There's a strong chance an Insurer would ask a question (Remember it must be clear) about whether any named driver you wish to include on your own policy has been the policy holder of a voided policy. In this case you would again need to answer it clearly and it could preclude you adding your mum to your policy
