Inflating salary

Am I the only one who hopes OP's user name is his real name and that the prospective employers google the names of applicants?
As BillJones said above, lying about your current salary to get more from a new employer is fraud and if you get caught it's pretty unlikely you will get/keep the job and you could end up with criminal charges. Stupid idea.
If you want to achieve a big pay jump you need to be able to explain to the new employer why you are worth more than your current employer is paying. You seem arrogant enough to be able to come with plenty of reasons.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
