Nationwide handed me over to the most bullying, intimidating company proporting to be lawyers. In a blink I had a CCJ issued, the lawyers attempting to reposes my home.Their tactics drove me to contemplate suicide.
A relative loaned e the money to pay off nationwide/ I recently reclaimed PPI from this account. I was taken to court for 2,459, I received PPI of £2,328.
I could have paid thi small amount with no difficulty.
Nationwide, on your side, don't make me laugh, what would you do in my case?

Put a complaint in about this, you, no doubt, will not be the first that this happened to.
There will not be a great deal that they will do but let them know you are not happy.0 -
Nationwide would only have "handed you over" to debt collectors once your debt actually defaulted. If the amount outstanding could have been paid with "no difficulty", then why didn't you simply pay it to Nationwide BEFORE it defaulted?Nationwide handed me over to the most bullying, intimidating company proporting to be lawyers.
Clearly your successful PPI complaint came too late to satisfy the debt before court action was taken.
Debt collectors exist only to retrieve money on outstanding debt. As such they employ tactics which might be described as "bullying" and "intimidating".
Any complaint about these tactics (as long as they remain within the law, of course) will simply fall on deaf ears.0
