miele tumble dryer

Hi
i currently have a miele t230c condenser dryer, i noticed that the clothes take quite some time to dry. the drum still seems quite hot inside, i have checked the resistance on the thermostat and this is ok.
i have cleaned all the filters and condensing unit, at the very bottom of the dryer are two vents the one on the left is blowing hot air but the right one is blowing cold air. Is there anyway i can check if the heater element is not pushing out enough heat. or any other suggestions or experience anyone have had with the same issue.
i estimate that the clothes have taken about 2hrs to dry
