it amazes me how differently people get treated!
i was in the WRAG for over 2 years and had 3 WFI's in the first 6 months of my claim. i didnt receive any more appointments.
then i was moved to the support gtoup in January of this year without even completing an ESA and no medical.
i hadnt even asked them to switch me, and i only found out because i received a letter from the council stating a change of circumstances for HB.
it said ' because you receive the support element of ESA'....
i phoned DWP and they confirmed it.
i still havent had a letter though....
I have been treated very well by the DWP, they can never do enough for me when I have needed help over the years and I think that it's because I have a date I became disabled and a definite level of disability, it's harder for those without this cut off date I think and those with certain progressive conditions etc.
I've never had a wifi because I got the correct result from my ESA50, the support group without a assessment but I'm confident that if they had made a mistake it would have been rectified ASAP without drama.0 -

although i have a progressive condition, its severity cannot be disputed as it can be 'seen' by any medical professional that cares to examine my retinas, and so there is no room for opinion or the possibility that i might be exaggerating.
initially i had a medical, but it never occured to me that i wouldnt pass, and subsequently, i have been reassessed without the need for another.
i was moved to the support group without requesting it.
im still not sure why they did it, although i was aware that from the time i claimed, i did meet the descriptors.
i was quite happy being in the WRAG but to be honest, they werent giving me any help

You are in the right group according too the regs at present as am I, we both know that things might change and we are both aware that we will get any information we need to deal with that if and when that situations develops thanks to our friends here
:D
It's harder for my husband but since he collapsed with organ failure on a specific date he became sick/disabled on that date and since his first ESA 50 we have had no problems so far but it is much harder for him to define his disability and the problems that it brings etc.
I'm not great at present, I've just come out of hospital after major, major surgery so please excuse any typos etc. as I'm also not on my laptop because it's too heaven for me now so I'm trying to conquer my iPad.0 -
i actually joined the modern world and finally got a mobile phone. it has voice software on it and vuttons rather than a touch screen.
i cant say i'm anywhere near to mastering it yet and have sent some very 'unusual' texts
i do feel for the people that dont have such 'straightforward' consitions as i have and really struggle with a system that treats so many people so unfairly

My brother was sent on one and mum went with him. The lady who saw him, said she has no idea what Aspergers is. She then asked when he got it. Um, it's lifelong. You're born with it, unlike some of the conditions I have.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
