Claiming back PPI

Hi, I have decided to do a ppi claim back myself,
and im looking for help & info,
So far I have :
Done a SAR form and received a wad of paperwork 3" thick of all there records as far back as they would let me go,
I have had credit cards in the past and loans
I can recall being told with one loan i had to have the insurance to have the loan, and being young at the time felt pressured into it in 2005 !
I can find the loan paperwork what says i had personal loan repayments cover in the event of a accident or sickness !
so is that same as ppi ?
and what else do i need to look for in my paperwork to say i had ppi or do something come under a different name ? like on credit cards
also what form do i need to write to my bank with to claim back from ?
thanks

If you had PPI on a CC it would be on every statement and itemised as such.
Contact the banks in question to make the claims.
You need to show your reasons why you were mis sold these products (you "were pressurised" is hearsay so don't use this) with the loan, was the PPI added onto the loan agreement and you paid a monthly payment that included the PPI? if you had, this was Single Premium PPI and you could use this as a reason for mis sell, this is in effect a loan on the loan repaid to term end with interest.
If you had life insurance, savings, good sick package from employer or,could repay the loan/card should the worst happen then these are reasons to use too.
Due to the year the loan was taken out, you may need the loan agreement and proof you paid PPI, also CC statements of proof of PPI paid,I assume you got these in the Sar?.0
