Well we were there yesterday and it certainly didn't look run down to me, and it was also quite busy as well
We were there about 12 months ago and really enjoyed our day out, we returned yesterday for our second visit and and also had a great day
We used the 30% off voucher that we had from the premier inn so that made the admission a bit more money saving
We got our voucher from the premier inn Plymouth but they also had them in the st Austell premier inn as well
I am pleased that you enjoyed it - and I mean that sincerely. That said, the EP is facing something of a Perfect Storm. Visitor numbers are decreasing:

In January, the EP reported a £6.3M trading loss.As a result, they have had to increase prices to make up for falling visitor numbers and the reduction in Lottery funding, and the the man behind the project - Sir Tim Smit - has moved on to new projects. They have also had a massive cull in staff numbers. Turning this particular project around is not going to be easy when they are so many good gardens in Devon and Cornwall which are also well worth a visit. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
