We went for a similar deal when Bosch were offering a free set of pans when you bought an induction hob. We've been really pleased with our induction hob, so much better than gas.

The induction wok plates are very expensive.

Not problem if you don't do much wok cooking or have a very flat bottomed wok

AIUI the key features are max power and variability some have very course increments of power settings so not that adjustable.

Try and avoid getting one with the electronic touch controls, plus and minus for more/less heat as well as a selector button to select the appropriate ring. They are appallingly bad design. Miele do one with dial controls which is streets ahead of the others for controllability.
