Same for me! My mum took the initial call but the woman wouldn't say what it was about and said she'd call back. So I rung back twice and haven't got through either time!

I too have won, received the call earlier this afternoon (whilst I was in the middle of baking a cake !)

I had a call from them also but she said it was for a good deal on the magazine as I was a runner up so told her I wasn't interested. Maybe I should have listened to what else she had to say!

I had this call as well, I did ask the woman on the phone if it meant taking out a subscription and she assured me it didn't (which is the only reason I gave her my address) but today I received an email thanking me for subscribing to the magazine.
After querying it with them, I've managed to cancel it. Looking at their website, it's one of the mags which you pay on an invoice basis so I thought I should mention this here so everyone can check and make sure the same hasn't happened to them too.

Hi, just wondering if anyone actually received their magazine? I got this call four weeks ago, bit didn't remember entering this competition. But I thought it must be legit because it was cake related. After givingy address amd hanging up, I realised that I don't enter competitions where I have to give my phone number. The only place my phone numbet os listed is on my Facebook cake business page. If I entered a comp through Facebook it would have been via my actual personal account which does not have my number on it.
Also, the competition you are referring to (the kenwood mixer one) says "runners up will be notified via email".

I think this may be some kind of scam :-/
