UKCPS don't cancel when they see receipts but do usually cancel when they see the template appeal. You may not even need POPLA.

  • Thank you all for the support, here's hoping Coupon-mad.
  • I received a windscreen parking notice from UKCPS for the same reason at the same car park. Having read all the advice on the forum,I sent the standard appeal letter from the Newbie thread, plus a copy of a receipt from Homesense and they have cancelled the PCN. Suggest you do the same.

Well done - happens a lot with UKCPS when they see the forum appeal template:

See post #6 and the UKCPS links. They prefer to move on to weaker victims like disabled people and little old ladies who don't know the winning words for appeal. UKCPS don't want to waste their ill gotten gains on POPLA fees when they know they will lose.

  • Great news!

PCN Cancelled after first appeal as a one time gesture of goodwill but will not be repeated on future occasions....lol

Many thanks for the advice everybody.

Also beginning to notice more and more of these car park notices everywhere now!

Correlating with increasing profits for PPCs and more members of the public giving away their hard earned cash believing these penalties are for real.

You've spotted the scam; welcome to planet earth!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
