Advice needed council tax

Hello i am wondering what to do about court letters off the council for tax . i am on the esa and have been for years i dont understand why i am getting charged please can any one help me

    First thing would be to call them and ask them why you are getting those letters if you believe you shouldn't.

    If it's an error they have to rectify it.

    If you should have been paying or have ignored the letters you have a case to answer I'm afraid and again, have to call them to sort out/arrange payment plan.
