Help is it a virus?

Hi pc is running really slow some sites will load others say ,
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage


Most likely causes:

Tried ststem restore twice and also defragmented and cleaned up disc space but still got problems can anyone suggest anything please.

do you use a wireless connection or direct cable ??

what sort of sites are you blocked from ??

do you use Nortons ??

Sorry is the router the modem with lights on? Cant even go on sites in favourites like Ebay and Empire,ashamed to say I have no protection as I dont really understand it, but I know i should ,also sometimes my connection drops I am with Tiscali, thanks for your help.

it's the Blue Square you want, then do a FULL scan and reboot if asked to , then follow that thread to remove the rest

I have the same problem ebay msn both won't load, yesterday they would not this morning evrything is fine for most of the day then again tonight some sites load some don't?

Type into google pcpitstop and run it, not only will it tell you the problem it will also tell you how to fix it, and its free!!!!!!!!

This appears to be a Tiscali problem.

I have had the same problems, but fixed them by following the following instructions (at the end of the post)
