Increase in Hours but not in Income-Tax credits.

For the last 12 months I have worked as a self-employed cleaner, getting many of my hours from an agency.
I was working about 20 hours, and now am working about 34 hours a week.

I am now in the process of taking over the agency, but my income hasn't increased (as of yet, it will do in the future).
The extra hours are things like advertising and interviewing for new staff, finding the places to get supplies cheaper, finding and visiting new clients and contacting existing clients, book keeping etc.

My question is this: Do I need to contact HMRC Tax Credits to let them know my increase in hours, or do they just need to know about an increase in income?
