in Credit cards
On the 10th of July my last satisfied default is now at 6yrs since the date it was settled this means I now have no defaults listed. I think things have improved as I applied for a current account with Intelligent finance and was accepted with a debit card and £100 cheque card.
My question is this, I have about £2500 on credit cards, bad credit cards like capital one, vanquis and aqua and barclaycard initial.
I am slowly paying these off but I am now thinking I could be in the position to apply for a card with a low rate for Balance transfers and transfer maybe some of the cards over to it.
Bearing in mind my situation who would be the best to apply to? I earn 20k and have a clean record now apart from some missed payments on credit cards over 2 years ago but these werent defaults just the odd missed one here and there.
Thanks in advance.

I think if you said that you just recently accepted for a current account with IF I think you'll have a good chance of getting a credit card with them.
Why not try to give them a ring or visit their branch. Good luck.0 -
