Fasthosts problems

Anyone else having problems with fasthosts? Can't get my email (even from webmail) and a couple of hours ago both the fasthosts and ukreg sites were down. Just wondering if anyone else was having same email problems and if had they been fixed yet?

Yup, also getting the same problems, cant access webmail, email or my site. This company is getting worse and worse for reliability.

Well I eventually was able to log into the support area and saw this under system status (pretty much the same as the voicemail on the technical support phone line):

We are aware that a number of customer websites are currently unavailable and that you may be experiencing delays with sending and receiving email. We do not currently anticipate any loss of data as a result of these issues.

We apologise to those of our customers who have been affected and would like to assure you that we do understand the seriousness of issues of this nature and that all of our engineering resources are currently deployed to bring sites and services back online as quickly as possible.

While we cannot guarantee a time by which all services will be restored we anticipate that the problem will be resolved this evening.

We are experiencing a high volume of calls at present and you may have wait longer than we would like to speak to one of our agents.

My webmail is down too.

Still can't download through my email client. But can now access the webmail page, but there's no email there. I just hope that they still have it on their servers and I'll receive it when they've properly fixed everything. (In case anyone thinks that maybe I just haven't got any email, I sent a test email from my gmail account so I know for certain there's at least 1 email I should receive/be on webmail).

I was on phone to them last night, got all my email eventually overnight (as far as I can tell). Power outage certainly explains why their ukreg and fasthosts websites went down as well. Poor guy sounded bit stressed. All seems to be back to normal now though.

Wouldn't use them anyway! they charge delayed payments with £40 charges! Leave them-

Although after taking them to court they had to pay my expenses at £50 ironic eh? lol

Never been late paying them so never been a problem. I've always found them curteous and helpful whenever I have any technical queries etc. If I have any major problems then I would leave them but I've been with them years so far and this thread was the first time anything bad has happened and even that was out of their control, they fixed it quickly and I've not lost any data.
