Dulux/Crown brilliant white gloss paid

Hi, I painted my wooden doors and skirting boards with one of the above paints a couple of years ago, I can't remember which one but definitely one of them. They turned off white within months until they are now, what I would describe as magnolia. I have decided to try painting them again. I still want them to be white but does anyone know of a make of gloss paint that won't discolour quite so soon, if at all (I wish!)?
Sorry the heading should be paint not paid but I can't edit it.

We found the same with gloss.
We changed to using white Satin Wood which is much, much better.
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
A few years ago the European Union ordered that the chemical make up in gloss paints be changed to reduce harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds). These wre the chemicals that kept the paint white. As a result all white gloss now fades very quickly.
As above says, satnwood doesn't fade so is a much better option. If you want the. Glosseffect however, use Hammerite or Japlac. Both ate mafe differently and don't fade.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Water based won't yellow at all.0

We've used Crown water based gloss and so far it is still really white, but definitely less 'glossy' than the old style gloss paints. We bought the quick dry version which I wouldn't recommend however, as it does what it says on the tin, and it can be hard to rectify any dribble marks etc as it dries very very quickly!0
