Wrong name on decree absolute?

I'm to wed my partner in November and due to register soon. I dished out my decree absolute from 8 years ago and realised it has my old married name on. Im known as my maiden name and have been since the divorce. Surely it should have my maiden name on it that I'm known as? Is this going to cause an issue when we go to register and give notice? Thanks!

um no? you were married until the decree absolute. you reverted to the name on your birth certificate AFTER that, so it wont be a problem when you take ALL the required documents to the register office.0

I'd assume that one of the documents needed will be your birth certificate and that would readily show that you'd simply reverted to your maiden name.
Hope the wedding goes well.0
